Givens, Gertrude Smith Perkins

Gertrude “Perk” Smith Perkins Givens, 90, of Pearisburg, VA. went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 26, 2025. Perk was born on August 12, 1934, in Petersburg, VA and was the daughter of the late Archer Witherspoon Perkins, Sr. and Alice Elizabeth Smith Perkins.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 2pm at the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg with the Rev. Clay Holt, Rev. Keith Owen and Charles Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday evening from 6 – 8 pm. A private family burial will be held Monday at 10am.
