Gilley, James Lee

James Lee Gilley, 58, of Shawsville, Va., and formerly of Salem, died on January 28, 2015, at Lewis Gale Hospital- Montgomery. He was born in Maryland on December 15, 1956, to the late Jimmy and Wanda Jean Gilley. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Gilley.

James was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He is survived by a daughter, Brittany Gilley of Roanoke; brother, Joseph Mark Gilley of Shawsville; and grandchildren, Dominic Gilley, Alex Gilley, Isabella Gilley.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Harry McCoy and his staff for their care as well as the nursing staff at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery.
