Gillenwater, Mary Elizabeth
Mary Elizabeth Gillenwater, 57, of Christiansburg, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Early Bird and Millie Gillenwater; as well as many cousins.
She is survived by her very special Goddaughter, Kerri Williams; she also leaves behind many special friends, especially Rose and Betty from Virginia Tech; as well as many cousins.
Mary had a heart of gold and always tried to help everyone she could. She loved her family very much especially her cousins and her Goddaughter, Kerri Williams whom she was always there for. She also enjoyed going to Tennessee with her special cousin, Gloria Mullins.
The family would like to express their special thanks to all the staff of Lewis Gale Montgomery ICU and Dr. Lesson.
The family has requested that all services be private.

Mary, We spent 5 years of our lives togeather, We had our ups and downs, but you always had a special place in my heart. I know you will be with your mom and dad now. They loved you so much. You rest in peace and may God jave a special place in heaven for you. You will be missed by so many.

Its been a month today that you passed Mary and I still cant believe it.You were a very kind person and you James and I lived together for over 5 years and we had our ups and downs but we always loved each other.You have a special place in our hearts and you will be missed.I know that Mary also loved alot of people she worked with also at Virginia Tech.She talked about them alot.She would always do what she could do for anybody.Well mary your now with your Mom ,Dad, and other relatives that went before you and were waiting for you.Rest in Peace and god bless.
