Gibson, Jerry Douglas

Jerry Douglas (Duck) Gibson, 53, of Pulaski, passed away September 1, 2007 at home with his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. Duck and his family wish to express their gratitude to Air Gas Mid America Inc. for their love and loyal support.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Geneva Gibson; brother and sister-in-law, James L. and Linda Gibson, Jr. , and stepson, Paul Fulbright.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Joe Douglas Gibson and Bradley Day Gibson; stepdaughter, India Fulbright; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marti G. and Ronald L. Carr and Yvonne G. and Tom Gaines; brother and sister-in-law, Larry D. and Cindy Gibson; nieces, Kimberley, Melissa, Tya, and Breanna; nephews, Terry, Matthew, Eddie, Aaron, Tommy and Dylan; special friends, Brenda Bishop, Kem Darden, Glenda Stoots, Susan and Larry Martin, Steve (Spud) McCardle and Martha Hylton.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at the Grace Episcopal Church with the Rev. Kris Kramer officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at the Grace Episcopal Church, Radford. DeVilbiss Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
