Gibson, Charles Dennis
Charles Dennis Gibson “Denny”, 47 of Christiansburg passed away Friday February 19, 2021 surrounded by his family. Denny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russ and Joann Ball of Grafton West Virginia; his mother, Nancy Pattishall of Christiansburg; and two nephews, Nicolas and Caupert.
Denny is survived by his sister, Jennifer Helms; brother, Chad Pattishall, both of Christiansburg; as well as his nieces, Amanda Abate and her husband Joshua, and Amanda Helms; nephews, Derek Lane, Josh Lane, and Brandon Lane. Denny also left behind his treasured niece Parker Pattishall; along with his great-nieces and nephews, Annavaye, Elijah, Isaiah, Adalyne, Avan, Autumn, Raelynn, Hunter, and Julian.
Denny was an avid outdoorsman and overall tradesman. He enjoyed spending time working on pit crews for his friend’s racing teams, hunting, and fishing. Denny was a kindhearted man who loved his family beyond measure. He will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at Horne Funeral Home on Friday February 26, 2021 at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to cover funeral costs.

To the family of Denny Gibson,
I was one of Denny’s teachers at Christiansburg Middle School. He often came to our farm with one of his friends and spent time with my children.
I regret hearing of his death, so young.
