Gibbs, Donald Douglas

Donald Douglas Gibbs, 80, of Pulaski, Va. passed away early Tuesday morning, December 15, 2015 at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Pulaski. He was born in Pulaski, Va. on June 2, 1935 and was the son of the late Frank Gibbs and Flossie Bentley Gibbs. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Gibbs.

He was a retired employee of Lynchburg Foundry Radford.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Don “Dinky” Gibbs, Jeffrey and Christina Gibbs; two sisters, Esther Dalton and Peachie Scott; one brother, Arlie Gibbs; five grandchildren, Stacy Nicole Taylor, Reagan Limon, Casey Gibbs, Kayla Gibbs, and Maegan Roope.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Stevens Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. Family will receive friends at 1 p.m. until the service hour on Friday.
