Gautier, Linda Marie Bales
Linda Marie Bales Gautier, 62, of Narrows, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery. She was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on June 30, 1950, and was the daughter of the late William Allen and Dorothy Hester Boothe Bales. Linda was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Narrows where she served in many capacities. She was also an avid volunteer at Riverview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Rich Creek. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 45 years, Thomas W. Gautier Sr.; two sons, Thomas W. Gautier Jr. and wife, Sharon, and Jody Lee Gautier and wife, Billie Jean; two special granddaughters that she loved dearly, McKinna Gautier and Savannah Gautier, all of Narrows; a sister, Dorothy Moore and husband, Clayton; two nephews, Jeff Moore and wife, Paula, and Bobby Moore and wife, Misty; four great-nephews, Tyler, Connor, and Cody Moore, and Chastin Wickline, all of Peterstown; several additional nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, including a special sister-in-law, Mary Gautier, of Narrows; a beloved pet bird, Stanley, and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at noon at First United Methodist Church in Narrows, with the Rev. Chris Stanfield, the Rev. Christopher Brown and the Rev. Wayne Monroe officiating. Burial will follow in the Gautier Family Cemetery.
