Gautier, Frances Rita

Frances Rita Gautier, 84, of Cabot Drive in Pearisburg, Va., departed this life on Friday morning, November 9, 2007 at her home. Born in California and raised in New Jersey, she was a daughter if the late Fannie Wilkerson Haines and was the stepdaughter of the late Richard Haines.

Frances was a devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Pearisburg and very active in the Salad Luncheon and Lord’s Acre projects of the church.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna M. Reagan. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 48 years, William B. Gautier; a son, Richard W. Gautier of North Sullivan, Maine; a stepdaughter and her husband, Debbie and Dennis Lynch of Pembroke; a special niece, Cindy McGrath of Honesdale, Pa.; several other nieces and nephews; and her family of faith at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, November 12, 2007 in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg at 11:30 a.m. with Father John Prinelli officiating. There will not be a public visitation time in keeping with Frances’ wishes.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to Holy Family Catholic Church at 516 Mason Court Drive in Pearisburg, Va. 24134.
