Garvey, Brian Christopher

Brian Christopher Garvey, 19, of Christiansburg, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2011. He is survived by his parents, Sean and Carol Garvey; and his sisters, Rachel, Johanna and Kara. He was a graduate of Christiansburg High School and enjoyed making music and playing baseball. He was also an avid Atlanta Braves and Green Bay Packers fan. Memorial gifts may be made to the Holy Spirit Church, P.O. Box 98, Christiansburg, VA 24068. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 20, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Horne Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2011, with Pastor John Prinelli officiating.
