Garnand, William Wayne

William Wayne Garnand, 57, of Christiansburg, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2006. He was a thirty year employee of Volvo. He was the son of the late James Roy and Willie Evans Garnand.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Frye Garnand; daughter, Becki Hess Wildenberger, and husband, Paul; grandson, Conner Wildenberger; granddaughter, Elaina Wildenberger, all of Roanoke; brothers, Donald Garnand, Mac Garnand, Henry Garnand, all of Christiansburg, Jimmy Garnand; sister, Dorothy Sautia; and his mother-in-law, Lola Frye.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Monday evening at the Pulaski Church of God, 1621 Bobwhite Boulevard, Pulaski, Va. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28 in the Pulaski Church of God conducted by the Rev. Jerry Collins. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Hospice of your choice or the Wake Forest, North Carolina Baptist Hospital Cancer Center.
