Gardner, Jr., Roger Lee

Roger Lee Gardner Jr, 49 of Willis, Va. Passed away September 23,2021 from complications of Covid-19 after spending 2½ weeks in ICU. He was born October 10,1971 in Radford, Va.

Roger was preceded in death by his father Roger Lee Gardner Sr, grandparents on both sides: JC and Delaine Gardner, Gerrit and Jacoba Leemkuil. Uncles: Randy Gardner and Gerrit Leemkuil Jr. Aunt: Arleta Ingram.

He is survived by his mother Truus Leemkuil Jansen and husband/stepdad John Jansen, his loving family in The Netherlands. Sister-Renay Gardner. Nieces: Brianna Harris and husband Blake, Salena Keith and Hailey Keith. Longtime girlfriend: Brenda Lucas, his stepsons James Fleeman, Billie Quesenberry, Bobbie Quesenberry and Brandon Quesenberry. Stepdaughters Brittany Bucklew and husband Chris, Savanah Lucas and Brianna Lucas and many step grandchildren and one great grandchild. Uncles: Jerry Gardner, Rex Gardner. Aunts: Becky Shaver, Jackie Albert and husband Larry, and Jacoba Riggins. Also survived by extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be Monday September 27,2021 from 1pm-1:45pm at Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg, Virginia

There will be a small memorial service at Sunset Cemetery at 2pm
