Ganoe, Lillian Bessie

Lillian Bessie Ganoe, 71 of Narrows, VA passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. Born October 3, 1942 at Narrows, VA she was the daughter of the late Oscar Harold and Thelma Inez Robertson Blankenship. Becky was retired from the Celanese Corp.

She was a member of the Glen Lyn Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Larry E. Ganoe and a brother Ronnie Harold Blankenship. Survivors include two sons, Michael D. Ganoe and wife Sandra of Radford, VA and Alan W. Ganoe of Narrows, VA, one brother, Houston Dexter Blankenship of Palatka, FL, a sister, Bonnie Pearl Hawley of Christiansburg and six grandchildren, Cara, Tanner, Isaac, Abby, Callie and Jeremiah. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Glen Lyn Church of Christ, Glen Lyn, VA. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, Peterstown, WV.
