Gambill, David Monroe

David Monroe Gamibll age 53 of Christiansburg, Va. and formerly of Galax, Va. passed away Thursday, July 16,2009 at North Carolina Baptist Hospital. David was born on January 23, 1956 in Sparta, North Carolina to Robert Frank Hash and Lilly Mae Gambill.

He is survived by his wife Juanita Brown Gambill of Christiansburg, Va.; children Tyrone Gambill, Justin Gambill, Kimberly Gambill all of the home; Selena Williams and husband Bobby of Roanoke, Va.; Jason Simpson of Roanoke, Va.; Randy Brown of Galax, Va.; sisters & brothers-in-law Patricia & Carroll Lineberry, Mable & Stevie Bryson all of Galax, Va.; Carolyn & Nathaniel Stouts of Winston-Salem, N.C.; brother Paul Green of Detroit, Michigan; grandson Avion Gambill; goddaughter Naomi Dickison and godson Tyline Brown both of Galax, Va.; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday, July 20, 2009 at 12:00 o’clock noon in the Oldtown Cemetery with Rev. Larry Cutler and Pastor Ethelene Bryan officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 am until service time at Vaughan- Guynn Funeral Home.
