Furrow, Minnie White
Minnie White Furrow, age 99, of Newport. Left this world on Sunday morning, August 21, 2022, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Newport, Virginia on July 1, 1923 to the late George and Dora White. She is also preceded in death by her husband Clarence and son Cecil.
Minnie had an extremely strong faith in the Lord to the very end. She worked at the Radford Arsenal, VPI & SU, and got her CNA. She worked at Heritage Hall and did private care till her 70’s.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Mary Furrow; grandchildren, Crystal and husband Tom Katovich, Michaela and husband Troy Abbate, Angela Linkous; great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Harriet, Theodore, Jennifer; great-great-grandchild, Alexis Truelove; many special cousins, nieces, and nephews and other family members.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Todd Triplett officiating. Internment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM before the service at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. Blacksburg, Virginia.

Sweet Minnie I have many fond memories of working with her at Heritage Hall as a young lady. She was a jewel. Thoughts and prayers for her family.

GOD gained another Angel. Will always remember you and our trip to Israel so many memories and learned a lot about the message from you see you later I will miss you wish I could have visited you at English Meadows Prayers for your family.
