With his father, brothers, and sister by his side, Timothy “Timmy” “Rooster” Wayne Freeman, 44, of Pulaski, VA passed away peacefully at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg, VA on July 1, 2022. Born on March 29, 1978 at Pulaski Community Hospital, Timmy is the son of Larry Freeman and the late Annie Freeman.

Timmy was a 2000 graduate of Pulaski County High School. He enjoyed life to the fullest, filling his time with what brought him the most joy – music, singing, wresting, monster trucks, and food. He competed several times in the Special Olympics, aired on WBLB radio with Kathy Nipper, and loved going to wrestling events. His passion ran deep for everything he loves: his family, friends, all children, and playing guitar. You’d never hear a better Elvis impersonation or Garth Brooks cover. Timmy lived his life in a way that always embodied the purest definition of strength, optimism, and love. One of his most favorite things to do was make another person laugh or smile. He’d always be certain you knew “God take care of it” or that “it’s gonna be alright!” Timmy was a pillar in his family, an idle to everyone he knew, and an unforgettable presence to every person lucky enough to meet him.

Timmy was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Freeman of Pulaski, VA; brother, Allen Freeman of Dublin, VA; maternal grandparents William and Rinda Mullins of Lindside, WV; paternal grandparents Roby and Lillian Gravely of Pulaski, VA; and paternal grandfather, Hobert Freeman of Pulaski, VA.
