Frazier, Sr., Roosevelt David

Roosevelt David Frazier, Sr., 87, of Pearisburg, VA, went to be with the Lord he served on Friday, December 31, 2021. He was born in Wolf Creek, VA, on April 6, 1934, the son of the late “Tobe” & Ola Perdue Frazier.

David loved to work and help others. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church where he was baptized and served as maintenance for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He owned “Rite Way HVAC” for 10 years in Alexandria, VA, where he served the Jewish Community there well. He retired from maintenance at Celanese after 25 years of service.

Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred White Frazier, his step-son, Jim White, his brothers, Robert and Harman and his sisters, Liz, Zona and an infant.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 20 years, Judy Hoyle Frazier; his children, Roosevelt David Frazier, Jr., Pat Sartin, Reno Frazier, Jackie Gusler and Don Frazier; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; his brother, Harvey Frazier; his sister, Francis Wells; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park with military rites provided. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until service time, 12:00 P.M.
