More than anything, Sally loved being a mother and a grandmother. She was the foundation of our family, always supportive and always able to lighten everyone’s spirits. Sally was also incredibly competitive and she challenged her family to be involved in athletics and team sports, especially aquatics. She loved her summers of coastal fun and memories at the family’s beach home in Garden City, SC. She was an enthusiastic supporter of the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Sally’s family will receive friends Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 6-7:30 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW Blacksburg.
