Fox, Gary P.

Gary P. Fox, age 71 of Pulaski died Sunday, July 17, 2016. He was born on March 5, 1945 and was the son of the late Claudyne Worley Fox and Dr. Charles Gabriel Fox, Jr. Gary was a veteran of the United States Navy. Afterwards he completed his education at Bluefield State College.

Gary was an avid outdoorsman, taking many hunting and fishing trips all over the country. He was well known in the Pulaski community for his association with BB&T and Old Dominion Insurance. Gary was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Debra Richards Fox of Pulaski; two sons and a daughter, Charles (Chuck) Clifford Fox and his wife Veronica of Richmond, along with their children, Lauren Rebecca Fox and Charles Ryan Fox, Gary (Chad) Chadwick Fox of Pulaski, and Jesse Madalyn Fox also of Pulaski; a brother, Frederick (Freddie) Fox of Roanoke; sister Charlyne Moody and her husband A.C. Moody, Jr. of Colonial Heights, Virginia.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Melissa McNair-King officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the Seagle Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
