foster_lewis_red1Lewis B. (Red) Foster, 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 21, 2011, at his home in Radford. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines and retired as government inspector from Radford Army Ammunition Plant. Survivors include his wife, Stella H. Foster, of Radford; three sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Amy Holbrook, of Radford, Richard and Anne Holbrook, of Radford, and David and Leigh Anne Foster, both of Roanoke; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Wayne Zellers, of Radford; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Jim Pickett, of San Diego, Calif.; sister-in-law, Anna Foster, of Pulaski; grandchildren, Abby Holbrook, Bayley Holbrook, Blair Holbrook, Bryan foster_lewis_red2Holbrook, Taylor Foster and Tanner Sutphin; and special friends, Russell and Evelyn Quesenberry. Special thanks to Leise Carmen and Roberta Rollyson, caregivers, and also Lewis-Gale Hospital, Radford Rehab and Good Samaritan Hospice. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2011 , at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. O.D. Morgan, the Rev. Brian Cockram and Mike Dickerson officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin where members of VFW Post #776 will conduct Military Graveside Rites. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, March 23, 2011, at the funeral home.
