Fogg, Jean Jude

Jean Delores Fogg, 91, of Christiansburg, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Blacksburg. Born November 22, 1929, in Hetzel, WV, she was the daughter of the late Christopher Columbus and Delsa Jude. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Orin Jude, Donald Jude, Carl Jude, and Mary Alice Koch.

Left to cherish her memory are her eight children, Craig Fogg (Susie), Paige Fogg, Keith Fogg (Melinda), Dana Fogg (Pat), Tara Litton, Tonya Morris (Chris), Treena Thornton (Jeff), and Dreama Moore (Jeff). Jean had 16 grandchildren, Crystie Vallejo (Mike), Greg Litton, Allison Musick, Emily Houghton (Jason), Kara Smith (Hugh), Amy Goldman (Colin), Michael Bradley (Karen), Chris Fogg, Tony Fogg, Brandon Fogg, Brian Fogg, Chris Morris (Shannon), Lera Thornton, Craig Thornton, Madison Moore, McKenna Moore; 11 great-grandchildren, David, Aiden, Ethan, Garen, Baby Smith, Jackson, Charlotte, Kathleen, Noah, Joey, Cassidy, Julie, Sara, Rachael, Allan; as well as two great-great-grandchildren, Arrick and Noah.

The family would like to thank the nurses, aides, and staff at Heritage Hall for their compassion during this difficult time. A very special thank you to Brandon, Nurse Manager on the COVID unit for his dedication to Jean’s care and kind expressions of sympathy during this time.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 3, 2020, from 2-3 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Chapel.
