Iretta Hickam Flint, 83, of Goshen, Ind. and formerly of Pulaski, Va., died on Sunday, September 23, 2007 in the Greencroft Healthcare Gables in Goshen, Ind.

She was born in Bristol, Va. on November 26, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Worley W. Hickam and Virgin L. Bevins Hickam. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy B. Flint, Sr.; a son, Barry B. Flint; and four brothers.

Mrs. Flint was a retired bank teller for Bank of America, Pulaski, a charter member of the Memorial Baptist Church, Pulaski, affiliated with the Women’s Missionary Union, a Sunday School teacher and choir member, and a volunteer at the Pulaski Community Hospital.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Bill B. and Katherine Flint, Jr. of Goshen, Ind. and Robert H. and Pam Flint of Ft. Myers, Fla.; grandsons and wife, Andrew C. and Jesi Flint of Osceola, Ind., Patrick B. Flint of Milwaukee, Wis., Robert H. Flint, Jr. of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Ryan C. Flint of Ft. Myers, Fla.; and greatgrandson, William P. Flint of Osceola, Ind.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2007 from the Memorial Baptist Church, Pulaski. Burial will following the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Saturday at the Memorial Baptist Church where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to the Memorial Baptist Church, Pulaski, Va. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va.
