Flinchum, Raymond Joshua

Raymond Joshua Flinchum, 94, of Willis, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, in a Pulaski County retirement home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel H. and Delphia Hylton Flinchum; his brothers, Oscar and Elmer Flinchum and a sister, Alice B. Young.

Surviving are a sister, Ethel F. Flinchum of Radford; a sister-in-law, Ila M. Flinchum of Radford; three nephews, Oscar Flinchum of Youngstown N.Y., Roger Flinchum of Viewtown, Va., and Curtis Young of Washington D.C.; five nieces, Deena Flinchum of Blacksburg, Barbara Lewis of Hendersonville, N.C., Jeannie Jones of Radford, Barbara F. Elkins and Rachel F. Mabry, both of Radford; special friends, Aaron Sutphin of Willis, Judson Young of Christiansburg and Harry Dalton of Willis.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at Wheatland Hills and Highland Ridge Retirement Centers, for the care that was provided.
