fitzgerald_madison_rayMadison Ray Fitzgerald, 46, of Christiansburg, Va., died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. He was born on October 12, 1963, in Lynchburg, Va. He was preceded in death by his parents, Valice and Clyde Fitzgerald. Madison was a graduate of Blacksburg High School. He also attended the University of South Florida, and was a certified paralegal. He was employed at Inorganic Solutions located in Christiansburg, Va. Madison was an avid musician and also loved to create “gourmet dishes” for his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory is his sister and brother-in-law, Gayle and Malcolm Thornton, of Christiansburg; brother-inlaw, Madison King, of Roanoke; and nephew, William Scott King, of Roanoke. He is also survived by several great-nieces; a great-great-nephew; and two aunts, many cousins and friends. A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2010, at the Horne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2010, at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Carson Kempher, a cousin, officiating.
