Fitch, James Robert

James Robert Fitch, 59, of Elliston, is at peace with God and Home on Thursday, June 7, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Crockett Fitch and Cora Lee Ward; a sister, Audra “Tootsie” Bentley. He is survived by his fiance, Susie Linkous; children, Crystal Fitch Rogers and husband, Larry, James R. Fitch Jr., Susan Marie Fitch and husband, Eddie Thomas, Chancy Fitch and Clint Fitch; stepchildren, Angie Garcia and husband, Luis, Daniel Linkous and wife, Nickie, and Jamie Fitch and husband, Leonard; and 12 grandchildren. James served in the Army with the rank of Sergeant. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 10, 2012, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home, with the funeral service to follow at 5 p.m. in the Chapel.
