Fisher, Nancy Martin

Nancy Martin Fisher, 72 of Narrows, passed away Tuesday September 10, 2019 at her home after a long battle with cancer. Nancy was born September 28, 1946 in Bluff City, VA, and was the daughter of the late Clyde H. and Thelma Lucas Martin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Reba Douthat and Ruth Clark.

Nancy was a 1964 graduate of Giles High School. She was a retired employee of the Celanese Corporation where she was a proud member of the fire brigade.

She is survived by one daughter, Jill Fenstermaker and husband Scott of Narrows, VA; one son Phillip Fisher and wife Michelle of Dublin, VA; grandchildren; Kayla and Mike Morgan, Christopher and Alisha Frazier, Adrianna Frazier, Abigail Fisher, Amanda Price and Chuck Price; great grandchildren, Aubree, Addison, Chase, and Gage; two sisters, Betty Meredith and Joyce Martin, and a special friend Bonnie Rice.

Funeral services will 2:00 PM Thursday September 12, 2019 at the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Jordan Walkup officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, Narrows, VA.
