Fisher, Marie Elsie

Marie Elsie Fisher, 94, of Pearisburg departed this life Monday, June 4, 2007 at Riverview Nursing Home in Rich Creek.

Born in Frederickstown, Mo. on April 27, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Lula Cook Lee. She was retired from her work in the banking business and was a Baptist by faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Fisher. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Charles L. Dotson of Pearisburg; two grandchildren Paul and Ruth; seven grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Agnes Gillam of Texas and Frienda “Jerri” Dotson of Mo.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
