Fink, Thomas E.

Thomas E. Fink of Blacksburg passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, at the age of 97. Thomas was born in New Jersey to Mr. and Mrs. Lester R. Fink.

Thomas attended Montclair Academy, where he was a track athlete. After graduation, Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Following his service, Thomas attended the University of Vermont and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. This led to his career in Business Development and Sales. Thomas married his former wife Elaine, and they started a family. He loved being a dad to his 2 daughters.

He later remarried and in the late 1990’s, Thomas moved to the Southwest Virginia Region; where he continued an active lifestyle and gave back to the community. Thomas was also a loving grandfather and great-grandfather.

In his later years, Thomas still touched many lives. With a great sense of humanity and humor; Thomas showed how to live life with honor.

Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter Leslie, and his wife Patricia.

Thomas is survived by his daughter Cynthia and her husband Thomas, Leslie’s husband Daniel, grandson Randy, great-grandson Jaden, and many cherished friends,
