Ferrell, Margie Mae Williams
Margie Mae Williams Ferrell, 88, of Pembroke, died Monday July 2, 2012 at Riverview Nursing Home, Rich Creek. Born in Giles County on November 23, 1923, she was a daughter of the late John Bill and Janie Mae Smith Williams. She was a beloved, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Margie was a long time and devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, New River Ward. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, James L. Ferrell and her sons Gary Dean and Barry Gene Martin whose loss she never really got over; brothers and sisters Virginia Dare Habernigg, Annie Williams, Girley Williams, Courtland Lee Williams, Ira Hayden Williams, Willard B. Williams, and Russell M. Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory her Grandchildren; Jason Martin of Pearisburg, Virginia, Chris and Kelly Martin of Phoenix, Arizona, Virginia Dare and Kevin Nicoll of Salt Lake City, Utah, Ashley and Joe Samuele of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Barry Kade and Breanne Martin of Salt Lake City, Utah, her eleven Great Grandchildren; her nieces and nephew; Jo Anne Williams, Becky Abel, Carol Bugg, Sue Parcell, Barbara Falls Jones, and Dennis Williams; special friends, Freddie King, Ella Cromer, Betty Williams, and Lucy Martin, and a host of friends and co-workers at Electro-Tec. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 pm in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, New River Ward, Pembroke, with Bishop Gary Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow Street, Pembroke Friday evening from 6pm until 8pm.
