FERRELL, Doris Ruth

Doris Ruth Ferrell, 73, of McCoy, Va., died Thursday, September 28, 2006. She was born in Carthage, N.C. on March 23, 1933 to Wilburn Ferrell and Ruth Ivettis Ferrell who precedes her in death. She was a seamstress.

Surviving are her sons, Roger Dale Nantz of Trinity, N.C., and Johnny Dean Nantz of Seattle, WA.; daughter, Sue Diane (Nantz) Lambert of McCoy, Va.; husband, Jesse Nantz, Jr. of New London, N.C.; brothers, Ed Ferrell, Ray Ferrell and Lonnie Ferrell all of High Point, N.C.; sisters, Ilene Stutts and Alberta Ridge of High Point, N.C.; grandchildren, Robert Nantz, Sherry Nantz, Russell A. Hurt, Tony Edwards, Melanie Edwards, Christopher Edwards, Heather Edwards, Sarah Edwards, Derrick Nantz, Emily Nantz and Ashley Nantz of McCoy, Va.

Graveside services 11 a.m. Monday, October 2, 2006 at Stanly Gardens of Memory, Albemarle, N.C. with the Rev. J.R. Hughart officiating. Burial will be at Stanly Gardens of memory, Albemarle, N.C. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2006 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle.
