Ferrell, Clarence

Clarence Ferrell, age 81, of Fairlawn passed away, Thursday, September 6, 2018, at his home. He was born in Danville, VA on March 30, 1937 to the late Ruth Watson, also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. He was a longtime Marshall at the Virginia Tech Golf Course and was retired from Old Colony Box Company.

He is survived by his stepchildren, Shern Smith, Leon Cox, Michael Cox; sisters-in-law, Eulalia Mills, Shirley (Richard) Akers; grandchildren, John, Justina, Robert, Zaria, Alana, Jada; great-grandchildren, Tyiaunna, Aydenn, Kamyrriah, Nariah, Robert, Jr.; longtime friends, Robert Leonard and E.A. Bishop.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Anthony Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
