Ferguson, Thomas (Tony)

Thomas Edward (Tony) Ferguson, 65, of Pulaski, departed this life on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at his residence. Tony was born August 4, 1946, in Washington, D.C., the son of Flossie Manns and the late Thomas Edward Ferguson Sr. Tony was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, New River. Tony attended Pulaski County Public Schools and graduated from Christiansburg Institute in Montgomery County. Tony attended North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, N.C., and graduated from Virginia Polytechnic University, Blacksburg. Tony was an employee and retired from the ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms) Bureau after 30 years of service. Tony was also a member of the New River Valley Progressive Men’s Club. The family will receive friends at First Missionary Baptist Church from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. The funeral will follow.
