Felty, Donald Wayne

Donald Wayne Felty (Don), passed away on March 30, 2022. He was born on April 18, 1944. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Randolph and Willie Felty; brother, David Felty; and sister, Jean Felty Bowles.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Layne Felty; and his children and their spouses, Tonia Amos, Darin Felty (Kitty), Sheryl Earnhardt (Jeff), Lorrie Vance (Benji); brother, Alan Felty; sister, Patsy Corvin; grandchildren, Aaron Felty, Carter Vance, Ashlynn Earnhardt, Emma Vance, Abigail Felty and Ellie Earnhardt; great granddaughter, Samantha Lopez; and great grandson, Theo Lopez.

Don worked at and retired from Rowe Furniture. He was the owner of Dons Produce Stand. He was a beloved member of the community and attended Elliston Church of God.

The family of Don would like to give a special thank you to Blue Ridge Cancer Center, Hospice Caregiver (Intrepid), and Montgomery Regional Hospital.

The family will receive family and friends on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Elliston Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted at Elliston Church of God, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at St. Luke Church Cemetery in Wytheville, Virginia with Pastor Ronnie Duncan and Ronnie Umberger officiating. Arrangements by Horne Funeral Home.
