Farmer, Theda Pezzanite

Theda Pezzanite Farmer, 83, of Pulaski, died late Friday night April 27, 2007 at her residence. She was born July 14, 1923 in Monroe County, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Georgia Elkins Pezzanite and Larry Vincent Pezzanite.

She and her husband Rudolph owned and operated Rudolph’s Studio and then later Theda’s Studio in Pulaski for over 60 years. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pulaski.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Lorraine Farmer, a brother, Larry Vincent Pezzanite, Jr., and a sister, Pauline Lanzi. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Rudolph Farmer of Pulaski; two sons, Kenneth Rudolph “Beau” Farmer, II of Lake Elmo, Minn., and Michael Anthony “Randy” Farmer of Snellville, Ga.; three daughters, Theda Kay Farmer Hunley of Fairfax, Va., Angie Robinette Farmer Fowler of Pope, Miss., and Kathryn Farmer Buck of Callands, Va..; five sisters, Maxine Payne of Hinton, W.Va., Melba Murray of Lompoc, Calif., Geraldine Carlson of Homosassa, Fla., Lillian Foster of Las Vegas, Nev., and Natalie Phillips of Gaulley Bridge, W.Va. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday April 30, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jeff Kackley officiating. Interment will follow in Thornspring Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday at the church from 6 until 8 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 12 noon until the time of the service.
