farmer_roger_nealRoger Neal Farmer, 68, of Radford and formerly of Eggleston, departed this life to be with his Lord Thursday evening, September 15, 2016 in Radford. Born in Giles County on May 30, 1948, he was a son of the late Ethelbert and Mary Lucas Farmer.

Roger was retired from the Celanese Plant in Narrows, enjoyed fishing and attended the Fairlawn Church of God. He was the kind of man that people will really miss.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son and daughter-in-law Troy Eugene and Shona Farmer of Staffordsville; his daughter and son-in-law Teresa Ann and Neal Clinginpeel of Vinton; his granddaughters Kalla Farmer and Sarah Murphy and her husband Chad; his great-grandson Eli Murphy; his sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Paul Mitchell of Blacksburg; his brothers and sisters-in-law Charlie and Kathy Farmer of Ridgeway and Jimmy and Judy Farmer of Eggleston.

His family greatly values the prayers and thoughts of their friends but in keeping with Rogers wishes no public services or visitation will be conducted. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
