Farmer, Mary Sharitz

Mary Elizabeth Sharitz Farmer, age 96 of Dublin passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Highland Ridge Rehab Center, Dublin. Born April 11, 1917 in Wythe County, she was the daughter of the late George Sharitz and Carrie Six Phillipi. Her husband, David Edward Farmer; daughter-in-law, Sheila Farmer; one brother and three sisters also preceded her in death… She was a long time member of the Hilltop Pentecostal Church, Pulaski. “Our angel is now in Heaven” Surviving- Daughter and Son-in-law- Leola and Johnnie Cox- Dublin, Sons and Daughter -in-law- George and Oneta Farmer-Roanoke, Herschel Farmer- Mooresville, N.C. Six Grandchildren- Six Great Grandchildren. Sister- Katherine Snider-Wytheville. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2:00 p.m., December 7, 2013 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. David Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
