Farmer, Gracie Ridpath

Gracie Ridpath Farmer, 88, of Radford, died on Sunday, August 26, 2007 in Carilion New River Medical Center. She was the widow of James Murrell Farmer.

Surviving are two sons, Manuel M. Farmer and wife, Patricia, and C.B. Farmer, both of Radford; four daughters, Maggie Ahmann of Dublin, Eva Rash and husband, Ray of Bradenton, Fla., Jean Ratcliffe and husband, James, and Doris Tinley and husband, Robert, both of Radford; one brother, Buford Ridpath and wife, Bridie, of Maryland; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at the Radford Worship Center with Pastor Hal Adams officiating. Interment will follow in the Haley Cemetery, Pulaski County. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
