Falls, Jr., Harold Dixon

Harold Dixon “H.D.” Falls Jr., 45 a resident of the Elm Tree Group Home passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital, Pearisburg, VA. Born May 30, 1968 at Bluefield, WV he was the son of the late Harold Dixon Falls Sr. and Beulah A. Meads Falls.

H.D. attended the Pointe West Center Day Program at Blacksburg, VA and had participated in the Special Olympics and had gone to the state level for the past two years. He was an avid WVU football fan and enjoyed all aspects of sports.

Survivors include one sister, Debbie Falls of Peterstown, WV, a special sister, Christine Cardinal, numerous friends and caregivers. Funeral Service will be 12:00 PM, Noon, February 17, 2014 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, WV with Minister Donald Henegar officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Keenan, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations of sympathy be made to the Elm Tree Group Home, 205 Tazwell Street, Pearisburg, VA 24134 in H.D.’s memory.
