Falls, Joanna Elizabeth

Joanna Elizabeth Falls, 51, of Alvarado, Texas, and formerly of Floyd, Va., passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2009. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola V. “Ginny” Falls.

She is survived by her father, the Rev. Joseph P. Falls, of Floyd; two sisters, Carol Sutphin and husband, W.J., and Cathy Cockram and husband, the Rev. James; one niece; five nephews; and many greatnieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. John Chambers officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd.
