Fain, Hallie Marie

Hallie Marie Fain, 75, of Blacksburg, died Monday, March 5, 2007 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Giles County, Va. on March 27, 1931 to the late Peyton and Grace Rogers McPeak.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Steven Fain. She is survived by her husband, Early D. Fain, Blacksburg; a daughter, Phyllis Keister, San Antonio, Texas; a son, Boyd Fain, Christiansburg; two grandchildren, Donald Keister, Jr., North Carolina; Charlene Quintero, Arizona; four great-grandchildren, Michael Keister, Meghan Keister, Luis Quintero, and Alex Quintero; two sisters, Francis Neice, Pearisburg, Judy Caldwell, Narrows; and a dear family friend, Zachary Adams.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at 3 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Price and the Rev. Homer Sawyer officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. Friends may call anytime after 12 noon Tuesday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
