amem_newriver.jpgEarly Daylie Fain, 81, of Blacksburg, Va., died on Monday, January 16, 2012, at Lewis Gale Hospital- Montgomery. He was born in Norris Run, Va., on September 4, 1930, to the late John and Nora Farley Fain and was also preceded in death by his wife, Hallie Marie Fain; and a son, Steven Fain.

He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Keister, of Alamogordo, N.M.; son, Boyd Fain, of Christiansburg, Va.; sister, Vivian Jarels, of Prices Fork, Va.,; sister-in-law, Judy Caldwell, of Narrows, Va.; two grandchildren, Donald Keister Jr., of North Carolina, and Charlene Quintero, of Arizona; five great-grandchildren, Michael Keister, Meghan Keister, Christopher Keister, Luis Quintero, and Alex Quintero; dear family friend, Zachary Adams; and beloved dog, Mikey.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2012, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Bobby Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, Va. Friends may call anytime after noon on Friday, January 20, 2012, and the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
