Arnold Manuel Fain, 74, born on December 13, 1942 went to be with the Lord on January, 30, 2017 after a long and courageous fight with muscular dystrophy.

Manuel owned and operated several businesses in the New River Valley including Blacksburg Phillips 66, Radford Texaco, and Price’s Fork Storage. He also retired form working in maintenance at the Radford Arsenal. He was a very hard worker but made time to have fun with his wife and kids. He loved old cars and enjoyed racing cars with his son, Rob. Although his body had physical handicaps his heart was always full of love. He fought extra hard the last few years because he wanted to see his grandkids grown and spend time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Fain of 54 years who never wavered her love and commitment to his health and happiness. He is also survived by his daughter Tammy Phosarath (Tuy), son Robert Fain (Melanie), daughter Melissa Fain, grandchildren Adrianna of Fort Myers, FL and Christian Phosarath of San Antonio, TX, Joshua Martin stationed at Travis Air Force Base, CA, Jacob and Camden Fain. He is also survived by his sisters Elizabeth Smith (Bob) and Pat Sorrell as well as his brother Fred Fain (Brenda).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Susan and Arnold Fain and by brothers Edgar and John Fain.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, February 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Angle and Evangelist Chandler Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. Blacksburg, Va.
