Evans, Frances St.Clair

Frances Lucille St.Clair Evans, 80, of Esther Street in Narrows, departed this life Tuesday morning, November 8, 2016 in the care of Heritage Hall in Blacksburg. Born in Giles County on July 3, 1936 she was a daughter of the late Rufus Guy and Mary Virginia Long St Clair.

Frances was a devoted Christian homemaker and a member of the Pearisburg Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Christopher Evans; five brothers, Dean, Jim, Bob, Richard and Allen; and four sisters, Mary Louise, Ruth, and Bertie.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 57 year,s Clarence Eugene Evans; her sister, Helen Pyles; her five children, Carolyn St Clair, Betty (Rusty) Lang, Gary (Buck) Evans, Clarence (Jim) Evans, Teddy Evans; her four grandchildren, Stacey (Tony) Parton, Holly (Jeff) Wilson, Ross (Jessica) Lang, Gary Jr. (Stephanie) Evans; one stepgranddaughter, Manda Byrd; six great-grandchildren, Noah, Deanna Parton, Joey, Nickey Nista, Peyton, Gary J; many nieces; and and her beloved dog, Princess.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., in Pembroke. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
