Estes, Glynis Epperly
Glynis Epperly Estes, 55, of Newport, died Friday, March 8, 2019. She was born in Montgomery County, VA on November 13, 1963 to the late Bobby Foster and Kathleen Shelor Epperly, She was also preceded in death by a sister, Melissa Russell.
Glynis is survived by her husband, Johnny Estes; her daughter, Jenni Estes; her brother, Joseph Epperly; her sister, Terena Christian; her mother-in-law, Betty Estes; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bruce and Lisa Estes; special friend, Mary Burns; special caregiver, Jaimie Carter; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lee Sarver officiating. Burial will in Ross Cemetery, Craig County, VA.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family to help offset expenses. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.

I had the pleasure of working with Glynis at Montgomery Regional Hospital for many years. She was a truly remarkable person who gave her all to her patients and the hospital. She had a small presence in the world but her absence is felt by all. We will miss you, Glynis.
