Estes, Billy W.

Billy W. (Bill) Estes, 53, of Knoxville, Tenn. and formerly of Radford, Va., passed away Monday, November 26, 2007 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Bill attended Hazmat training school. He loved working on cars and building racing engines. He was also a big fan of NASCAR, and loved a variety of music.

Survivors include wife, Jo Ann Estes; parents, Ed and Catherine Estes of Radford, Va.; son, Charlie Estes of Athens, Ga.; brother, Don Estes of Key West, Fla.; stepdaughters and husbands, Kim and Alan Cantrell, Kara and Clift Lamb, Krista and David Morris, all of Knoxville, Tenn.; several stepgrandchildren; special granddaughter, Kendra Morris; and special friend, Adam Cooper. He also leaves behind his favorite furry companion, Rusty.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Weesner officiating and another funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at East Radford Church of God in Radford, Va. with the Rev. Wayne Poston officiating followed by the interment at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin, Va.
