Epperly, Ruby Alderman

Ruby Alderman Epperly, 94, of Christiansburg passed away May 17, 2014. She developed many friendships at the Christiansburg Senior Center over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Epperly; son, Teddy Wayne; father, Alvin Jackson Alderman; mother, Mary Jane Alderman; brother, Sam Alderman and sister, Ellen Alderman. She is survived by brother, Alvin Alderman; sister, Louise Epperly; daughter, Patsy Linkous (Danny); son, Larry Epperly (Pam); grandchildren, David Linkous (Betty), Joe Linkous (Lori), Kim Linkous (Tom), Cherie Carlson (Nick), Leigh McAlexander, Brandy McAlexander and twins Martha and Will Epperly; great grandchildren, Nikki, Amber, Tanner, Brooke; great great granddaughters, Jillian and Adalynne; Great grandson, Colton and special niece and nephew, Faye Woods and Bobby Epperly. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20 at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad.
