Epperly, Dorothy M.

Dorothy M. Epperly, 78, of Christiansburg, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011. She was born June 2, 1932, to the late Frank Monroe and Hester Harmon Morris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Junior Epperly.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Rick Maxey; son, Michael Epperly; four grandchildren, David Smith, Rick Smith, Jason Smith, and Candace Boone; five great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Francis Teel, of Christiansburg, Margaret Howery, of Floyd, Betty Joyner, of Richmond, and Jean and Doug Altizer, of Radford; two brothers-in-law; and four sisters-in-law.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Mr. Clarence Lavender officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
