Ellison, Beatrice Pugh

Beatrice Pugh Ellison, 82, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010. She was born February 5, 1928, in Roanoke, Va., to the late Nicholas and Mary Pugh. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Nicholas William Pugh Jr. and Robert Beverly Pugh; and sisters, Ann Pugh Mohler and Mary Jean Pugh Miller. She was a 1950 graduate of Roanoke College. She is survived by her husband, Glen D. Ellison; daughter and son-in-law, Laura E. and William Kelly Studebaker; son and daughter-in-law, Michael G. and Sheila Ellison; stepgrandchildren, Drew and Regan; half brothers, Tyler Pugh and Charles Lee Pugh; sister-in-law, Maxine Ellison; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 18, 2010, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Peters and the Rev. Jerry Hylton officiating.
