Ellis, Bernard H. (Blue)

Bernard H. (Blue) Ellis, 85, of Dublin, passed away on August 10, 2012. He is preceded in death by his son, Bernard Ellis Jr.; and a grandson, Daniel Alan Covey Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Covey and husband, Danny, and Sissy Ellis; grandchildren, Larry, J.T., and Travis Thomas, Rocky Wagner; and six great-grandchildren. I would like to thank the Staff and Nurses at Highland Ridge Rehab who took such good care of him, special friends, Charles and Bonnie Austin, and life long friend Ray Covey. Memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery with Pastor John Tibbs officiating.
