Elliott, Thomas Charles

Thomas Charles Elliott, 67, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at his home in Dublin, Va. He was a United States Navy veteran and retired from Alliant Tech with 24 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edna Nystrom Elliott; a brother, George “Ed” Elliott Jr.; and a stepson, James W. Sloan II. Survivors include his wife, Susanne L. Elliott, of Dublin; daughter, Kathy Stolarek, of Joliet, Ill.; son, Tommy Elliott, of Joliet, Ill.; seven stepchildren ,Patricia Laney, of Uma, Ariz., Ronald Laughter, of Crest Hill, Ill., Lissa Firesteine, of Las Vegas, Nev., Heather Shroyer, of St. Cloud, Fla., Sherrie Blair, of Draper, and Patricia Nobles, of Joliet, Ill.; two brothers, John and Bill Elliott, both of Joliet, Ill.; two sisters Sharon Richie, of Buckingham, Ill., and Elaine Boros, of Joliet, Ill.; 19 grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild. Mr. Elliott’s cremains will be entombed in the columbarium at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Ill. Services will be held at a later date.
