Wayne Edwards, 82, of Christiansburg, died Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Bossevein October 14, 1928, to the late Floyd and Ollie Dillon Edwards. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Anders Edwards; brothers, Robert Edwards, Lee Edwards and Billy Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Pauline L. (Bonnie) Edwards; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara (Bobbie) and David Tuggle; stepdaughter, Doris Bryant, all of Christiansburg; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Vernon and Sue Bryant, Eddie and Lynnetta Bryant, all of Indianapolis, Ind.; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Lois Edwards, of Archdale, N.C., Arthur and Shirley Edwards, of High Point, N.C.; sister-in-law, Fern Edwards, of Hollins; three grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 17 stepgreat-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held privately. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
